| AFS! According to me…the organization that gives you an opportunity for a potential life-changing experience!…A precious academic year in a country…to let you experience the things beyond your l’il world! An opportunity to come out of your shell and learn a whole lotta stuff that u probably wouldn’t have learned staying with ur near and dear ones’. The whole concept of being independent and be responsible for each and every decision u make! Helps u to lead the life u always dreamt of! To be confident and be able to share and except the differences and still manage to seek those similarities between varied cultures! I would just say that …..Go for it! It’s truly worth it!!!!….I’ve finished almost 2 months in the US…I always visualized US of A to be full of tall buildings and mean cheer-leaders :P ….but after living in a small town in a valley…I understand the beauty of it!…I am extremely happy with the match with my host family! And hoping the best for the rest of the year…….And to all the new applicants (and future youth ambassadors!) All the Very Best!!!!!!!

| When you search the hope of light in a dark night and some one gives you a illuminated candle and you find the way back to your home and you love and admire the way the candle shows you the path and helps you to reach to your destination ,like the same AFS a non profitable organization did with me. Cheerful moment, groovy time and wonderful experience not only made me happy but it gave me something more near to my heart. Thanks to AFS!I which gave me a golden opportunity to go abroad and explore a different country's culture which has a beautiful and friendly environment...the place where you will feel love and love only. It is called true love and original brotherhood when you are with the beautiful people all around the world and eat in a single bowl and share love and spread the only and one thing to make world a better place - Peace. A great time with friends from every nook of the world. Talking with them enjoying this short life makes me delighted. In fact I feel like a small celebrity in the lime light. I am afraid of completion of this program. I know I will never get days like that and I still think I am dreaming. All this happiest part of my life and this golden time is given by AFS and the incredible people working in that. Thanks to AFS.

| AFS : american field services.These are only 3 words ,but the meaning,ambition is so big.Im glad that im a part of AFS now.This is simply amazing.Its like you are able to see a small glance of the whole world.I mean even though you are hosted to one country but its like you are able to get a glance of almost every country.Its like i went for a AFS internal county programe.And i met people from almost each and every continent.Everyone having their own thoughts ,their own beliefs but moto is only one :GLOBAL PEACE.Wonderful,specctacular !THen you go to a alien country ,totally unfamiliar with it and spend a whole year and simply get so much to learn,i mean not only about different cultures but about how to make friends,how to win hearts !ANd the best part:you get a chance to do something for your own country.and today i feel that im not merely a citizen of one country but im a gliobal citizen.Im highly thankful to all the people from AFS who gave me this chance !Hats off to AFS.CHeers !! |
