The Maharashtra class owners association has come up with a very own degree of B Ed, according to this degree, people who qualify will be categorized in two groups, one that can only teach in schools and colleges and one who can teach coaching classes together with schools.
In some time from now there will be a eight month course for teaching coaching classes by MCOA only applicable in Mumbai.
Three certified courses will be held, first for people who wish to teach there juniors, second will be for obtaining a degree and the third will be professional courses. Rs 9000, Rs 16,000 and Rs 24000 will be taken respectively for all the above mentioned courses.
The idea for this is to provide a better teaching atmosphere and better teachers.
While the teaching standards increase it also increases the balance for MCOA in the bank. With the compulsion of these courses for teachers a lot will be enrolling. Even if there is no compulsion and half amongst the 50,000 teaching in different coaching centres in Mumbai enroll it will be a great deal of money for MCOA.
The first two training centers will be opened in Malad and Greogan soon and start thee services , it will include coaching students on different aspects of education and the students will give presentations and enhance there skill s under supervision of experienced teachers.
Many have different thoughts on MCOA initiative, some say it is very early to say what will happen and how will it plan out there courses, some say that until MCOA comes out with there plan only then can we say if it will be effective or not, and others say that other coaching centers also provide similar kind of training so it is yet to see what MCOA is planning and then they can comment if it is worth it.
Still what will be MCOA initiative and what kind of courses will be offered is unknown but it is certain when it comes up with a plan it will definitely help many a lot.
