I am thinking of applying for my masters in engineering in the US. Many are saying that I should get a couple of years of work experience before I do my masters. I know this is true for the MBA but I am not sure how important this is for a masters in engineering.

Your input will be really useful...

yes i think u r correct.. for mba u need exp.. but for masters in eng.. u don't need.. complete masters and then join for any company.. don't go for evng college.. there is no much importence for that.. do regular course..

Ideal : You must work in the area of your choice in which u wat to do masters, after a year experience you can do much better and do something which is relevant to the industry.

But nevertheless u can do masters from institutes where industry is sponsoring projects which may be rolled in next few years.
