The Delhi Public School at Bhilai was established in August, 1985. It presently has 2678 students on its rolls and 102 teachers. At present the school has 60 computers on a Novell Local Area Network (LAN). The school has Internet access and is in the process of complete office automation. There is a Windows NT Server with 9 Windows workstations and educational software with sound, graphics, audio, video and animation effects. Construction of additional classrooms, an auditorium and sports complex is in progress.
